A (Tumblr) Year in Review
In 2011 this blog had almost 800 unique visitors, which is totally awesome, as far as I’m concerned. It’s really encouraging to just be typing away and have people pay attention. I am thrilled (and I am also newly obsessed with Google Analytics). So thanks for taking interest in the things that I think are important. If you’re a new reader and are perhaps interested in reading the highest rated posts (written by me, not including reblogs, good quotes, or videos) of the year, the top five are:
1. Several Points That Wouldn’t Fit on My Pride Parade Sign
2. The Occupy Movement, Queer Theory, & People Who Do Not Exist
3. An Open Letter to My People: The Pro-Lifers
4. Your Very Own Gender Studies Degree or; Oh Wow, I am a Whiner
5. How I Talk About Men When They’re Not Around
I’m also pleasantly surprised that so many people like the Your Very Own Gender Studies Degree project and I’ll be starting that up again in the next week. Thanks (thanks, thanks, thanks) for reading. I am grateful for your readership and commentary, both on and offline. Onward.
