Third Shift. Pt. 2
This morning one-year old D ambled down the stairs, shuffled through the kitchen, and stopped in front of where I sat in the living area. He smiled with his teeth parted and gums showing, holding his arms out at his sides before his Mom hoisted him into a highchair. D is the sweetest little faker I know. He will walk over, lay his head on your knee, and sigh, for no reason. He will also pretend...

The documentary featuring my former roommate, and dear friend, Meredith (and several other friends) about our Mission Year experience is finally online in it’s entirety. Third Shift. Pt. 1
At 1 a.m. I look out the back window for raccoons and intruders and think about what I’d do if I saw someone climbing over the fence into our snow—covered backyard. What if I saw L’s pimp, who had the nerve to show up here during daylight hours, climbing over our fence? I have so many questions and sharp elbows for him. As it goes, hurt people hurt people. I wonder how he got hurt. Hurt mothers...

You’re welcome for my review of Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts (I KNOW!).
If you would ever like my opinion on other delicious and pastry-ed foods, please, please let me know.
Also, I am very aware of my grammar errors in this video. Thanks. I take no responsibility for what I say while eating Pop Tarts.

Cartography
I dislike New Year’s Resolutions and I don’t really know why. Maybe it’s that I see the tradition making people think about things that are superficially wrong with them and I don’t support starting a year off like that. I know this obviously isn’t true for every resolution. As I write this in Chicago the memorial service for my grandpa’s life is going on in Ohio. I can’t be there because of tiny...
